At Jennings Transmissions Inc. of Goldsboro our mission is to put our customers first, to provide the highest quality transmissions at a value price, and world class service during and after the sale. Our team of professionals will always place special emphasis on our customer's needs and will accomplish our goals by conducting ourselves with honesty and integrity.

HISTORY

Jennings Transmission Inc. is a Christian owned and operated business. Started in February 1966 by Jennings Smith, and now owned and operated by his son Shane Smith, Jennings Transmissions Inc. moves forward into the future with the continuation of excellence by producing the finest remanufactured transmissions available. We are still in the original location after 55 years. Jennings Transmission is a Remanufacturing facility for both foreign and domestic automatic transmissions and transfer cases. We are also a distributor for Precision torque converters. Our facility has over 40 employees, 14 garage bays, 2 rollbacks and a fleet of delivery trucks. We warehouse over 1000 units ready for shipment and we can fill most orders within one business day. We also install units for any customer who wants us to do the complete job.

OUR PROCESS

All units are assembled using new bushings, sealing rings, O-rings, gaskets, filters, clutches (Borg Warner or Raybestos) steels, including Sonnax valves updated and all hard part updates. (We receive all OEM update bulletins.) All valve bodies are built and tested before installation. All electronic components are also tested before installation as part of our quality control process. After each unit is built it is run through a Uson leak detector. Then it is thoroughly tested on an AXI-Line electronic dyno. The final touch is a glossy black heat-resistant paint for great looks and endurance. We trust you will be very satisfied with our product.
